![]() ![]() While digging, the quarry tries to perform an action every tick, which is why the energy per action is lower than other machines. In comparison, this is approximately the same speed as sneaking. The exact formula for calculating movement speed is 0.015 + Energy Per Action / 200, meaning it will move at a minimum of 0.015 meters per tick, to a max of 0.015 + 9/200 = 0.06 meters per tick. Energy travelling through Conductive Pipes is displayed as a solid blue line, with varying thickness depending on the amount of energy passing through the pipe. The quarry's mechanical arm moves at a speed dependent on how much energy it is able to draw from the internal storage. Conductive Pipes are capable of transporting MJ (Minecraft Joule) from Engines to Build Craft Machines, such as the Quarry, Mining Well, and Oil Refinery. The filler has a 40% chance of not placing a block but still using the energy it would have. This was a huge benefit of Tekkit - their combined wiki was quite nice for most needs.1,2, or 5 MJ/t (lava, oil, and fuel respectively)ĭata for pipe capacity is currently incomplete. So, throw me a bone here guys, what am I missing? Gregtech's documentation is horrible, from what I can find.Īs an aside is there a place on this web site that has links to the most up-to-date and helpful WIKI pages for each Mod? I'm having trouble finding helpful wikis/docs for these mods. ![]() If the engines dont start and the cub is not powering up then check for breaks in your wiring. If the engines suddenly start working again, you simply had excess power in the system so the engines shut down. The engines are just holding the power, not transferring it to the Laser. Attach a redstone energy storage cube thingamabob to your power network. ![]() 4x Sterling Engines it is!įour Stirling Engines later, zero power is flowing from the engines into the Laser. Edit: As Tekkit-Lite doesnt seem to have the Electrical Engines, you can use an 'Energy Link', which might even be more efficient. If there is a more resource efficient way, I dont know it. This doesn't work so I search The Google and find the laser needs 4MU of power. Use however many Engines you can power and push that energy directly into the tesseract, and set the tesseract directly next to the quarry. Then I find the laser (not unexpectedly) needs power, so I put Redstone engines on it. ![]() Then I find it needs a Laser, so I build a Laser! So I decide Facades are the replacement and I set up my Assembly Table. I'm a convert from Tekkit, and I find I -really- miss my microblocks mod. I did some searching but didn't find any discussion of this problem. ![]()
